Firstly , u must know a bit of the server “system/server procedure” so that u just can understand what i am writing /sharing about . . .
actually – it is just easy and simple —-
1 – First Step – open your blog theme folder , search header.php (it is just together with the index.php @ css @ file – and add this this below coding between <head> and </head> in the header.php file inside -
<head>
“no matter” what appear in here —-<LINK REL=”SHORTCUT ICON” HREF= “http://rambochai.com/images/logo/icon.gif ( your icon domain ) “>
just key this all before end of the “head”
</head>
in the theme header for the file call header.php from the (most detination) www.your domain.com/wp-content/themes/folder/header.php
see picture below – then u might know more about it —
2 – then Second Step -
make sure your icon is done for it …
Recommended size for the icon “favicon.ico” is :-
~ 16×16, 16-bit (256) colors
~ 16×16, 32-bit colors
~ 32×32, 16-bit (256) colors
~ 32×32, 32-bit colors
~ 48×48, 16-bit (256) colors
~ 48×48, 32-bit colors
you may use ADOBE PHOTOSHOP to create it . you can use either .ico file or any other file such like .gif or .jpg …. it is all up to you .
